About YOU
You are a professional piano teacher. You are passionate and proud about music and about your teaching. You are able to communicate brilliantly with students of all ages.
You are looking for a supportive teaching environment where you can develop your teaching abilities among other professional instructors.
You have a minimum RCM Piano Grade 9 (or equivalent).
Key responsibilities will include:
- Instruction of students of all ages; beginner to intermediate, in private setting.
- Determine curricula and lesson planning for students
- Preparation of students for examinations offered by the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto, if required
- Preparation of students for Piano competitions, if required
- Communicating fluidly with owner and with director of this music school to better serve each student in their learning journey.
The role will involve:
- Teaching lessons at our location and/or remotely, to be discussed.
- Scheduling to be arranged, but a minimum of one afternoon/evening a week. At this point we are looking for a teacher who is willing to teach on Monday, with the potential for more days.
Compensation will be based on education and experience.
