Bio:
Easygoing, dependable, and surprisingly versatile. I’m not flashy, but I’ve helped a lot of people get started. I believe music should be accessible, welcoming, and judgment-free.
I’ve been around long enough to know the basics really matter. I’m patient, forgiving, and happy to grow with you — one scale at a time.
Looking for:
A first-time pianist, a growing family, or someone who just wants to make music without pressure. Let’s keep it simple.
Red Flag:
Too nice. May let you get away with skipping scales.
Deal breaker:
Unrealistic expectations. I’m here to learn together.
Bio:
Old soul with stories to tell. I may not be the newest thing in the room, but I’ve got warmth, character, and a voice that’s mellowed beautifully with age.
I’m solid, honest, and prefer real connection over flashy specs. I’ve seen trends come and go — I’m still here, still playing, still relevant.
Looking for:
Someone who appreciates character and doesn’t mind a little patina. Let’s make music the old-fashioned way.
Red flag:
Has opinions about modern trends and isn’t shy about it.
Deal breaker:
Chasing trends. Substance matters more.
Bio:
Emotionally mature, technically advanced, and not afraid of commitment. I’m known for my spruce soundboard and Millennium III action — lightweight, responsive, and engineered to last. I believe in consistency, reliability, and showing up perfectly regulated every day.
I’m great with beginners but really shine once you get serious. I respond quickly to touch, love expressive conversations, and can handle intense classical moments without losing my composure.
Looking for:
Someone who practices regularly and appreciates precision. Bonus points if you like long evenings with Chopin.
Deal breaker:
Bad habits. I will not enable them.
Height: 48″
Location: Designed by Steinway, built in China
Bio:
Well-designed, thoughtfully built, and quietly confident. I’ve got a Steinway-designed scale, spruce soundboard, and Röslau wire, but I don’t need to brag — my tone does that for me.
I balance warmth and clarity beautifully and offer a refined experience without being intimidating. I’m the sweet spot between aspiration and practicality.
Looking for:
Someone who wants quality, depth, and good value — and knows a smart choice when they see one.
Deal breaker:
Underestimating me. Happens once — not twice.
Bio:
Professional. Polished. Widely admired.
I’m the kind of piano teachers recommend — not because I’m trendy, but because I work. Clear communication, excellent projection, and a touch that builds good habits.
I’m stable, dependable, and known for showing up in tune — literally and figuratively. If you’re serious about improving, I’ll meet you where you are and push you forward.
Looking for:
Committed players. Students with goals. Teachers who know what they’re doing. No drama — just results.
Deal breaker:
Neglect. I thrive on regular interaction.
Bio:
Classic. Refined. Not here to play games.
I’m known for my depth, warmth, and emotional intelligence. People say I have a “grand-like presence” even though I’m technically an upright. I value craftsmanship, tradition, and meaningful connection.
I don’t rush things — I believe good tone takes time. I reward patience with richness, nuance, and a sound that stays with you long after the room goes quiet.
Looking for:
A serious pianist, teacher, or someone who appreciates quality over trends. Long-term commitment preferred.
Red flag:
Might ruin all other uprights for you. Once you commit, there’s no going back.
Deal breaker:
Being treated like “just an upright.” Respect is non-negotiable.
Age: Modern classic
Height: Depends on the model 😉
Location: Designed in New York, built abroad
Bio:
Smart, well-designed, and quietly confident.
I’ve got Steinway DNA, modern engineering, and a big voice for my size. I’m approachable but capable — the kind of piano that surprises people once they really get to know me.
I value balance, projection, and versatility. I’m as comfortable with Debussy as I am with movie soundtracks.
Looking for:
A pianist who wants quality, performance, and value — and appreciates a well-thought-out match.
Deal breaker:
Snobbery. I’m confident — I don’t need validation.
Bio:
Sophisticated with a soulful side.
I’m the kind of piano people fall in love with slowly — and then never forget. Rich, expressive, and capable of both intimacy and power. I fit beautifully into elegant spaces but can absolutely hold my own when things get dramatic.
I believe in nuance, emotional range, and music that says something.
Looking for:
An experienced player with good taste, a sensitive touch, and a deep appreciation for expression. Bonus points if you play late at night.
Red flag:
Emotionally deep. You may start cancelling plans just to spend more time together.
Deal breaker:
Heavy-handed playing. Sensitivity is required.
Bio:
Reliable. Athletic. Always shows up prepared.
You’ll find me in conservatories, studios, and on stages around the world. I’m balanced, articulate, and thrive under pressure. I don’t overcomplicate things — I just deliver.
I love clear communication, solid technique, and partners who know where they’re headed musically.
Looking for:
Dedicated pianists. Advanced students. Someone who practices consistently and likes things to work.
Red flag:
Sets the bar very high. May make you feel guilty if you skip practice.
Deal breaker:
Inconsistent commitment. If you don’t practice, I lose interest.
Bio:
I was born in 1891, the same year Carnegie Hall opened its doors and Tchaikovsky made his American debut. While basketball was being invented and history was being written, I was leaving the Steinway factory in New York — crafted during what many consider the golden age of piano making.
I’m an original A-1 Parlor Grand, first introduced in 1878, with design DNA borrowed from my bigger sibling, the legendary Steinway Model B. My scale was created by C.F. Theodore Steinway, a visionary with more than 45 patents to his name — several of which live on inside me.
Yes, I have Duplex Scaling, a laminated long bridge, and a tubular metallic action frame — but I also have stories. I once belonged to Tomson Highway, Indigenous Canadian playwright, novelist, and children’s author. I’ve been part of creativity, culture, and quiet moments that mattered.
Recently, I’ve had a glow-up. I was lovingly rejuvenated by Bolduc Pianos, with a brand-new soundboard, bridge, pinblock, bridge capping, pins, and strings. My action was rebuilt, my hammers voiced, my body carefully cleaned. I feel renewed — but I’ve kept my soul.
And yes… I still have that magical Steinway sound.
Looking for:
Someone who appreciates history, depth, and real connection. A player who listens as much as they play. Casual flings need not apply — I’m best experienced slowly, in person.
Red flag:
Has lived a full life and will remind you of it — often, and beautifully.
Dealbreaker:
Judging me without hearing me first.
