CHILDREN’S PIANO LESSONS: YAMAHA EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN 3 AND UP

Yamaha Music School began in 1954 in Tokyo as an experimental class for young children. The unique methods produced results quickly and Yamaha Music School rapidly gained a reputation throughout the world. To date, more than 6 million students have graduated from Yamaha courses.

The most distinctive feature of the Yamaha Music Education System is its emphasis on creativity development. Yamaha students learn not only how to hear, sing and play musically, but also how to express themselves creatively. Even young children develop creative skills in specially designed activities.

Yamaha Music School has lessons for any age and every skill level. Older adults who are interested in maintaining good health often decide to play the piano because it is a pleasant way to exercise the mind and body.

The most important benefits from studying the piano may be the mental exercise of listening and responding to music. The concentration required to perform even simple pieces keeps the mind alert and attentive. Piano practice improves posture and strengthens the hands and wrists.
